Typewriters are the Ultimate Pen

  1. Interesting and well put.

Old ways of doing things don't necessarily disappear when new ones take their place -- but the old ways get new meaning when they become a minority tool. I like the new meaning of old typewriters.

  2. Recently, I wrote a journal entry with my fountain pen, and although I enjoyed the experience, I found myself wishing I'd typed it instead.

My handwriting is fairly neat & legible, but there's just something more special about typing, to me.

(I have a Smith-Corona Sterling, 1945, which has a similar typeface to your slightly newer S-C.)
